Description
This painting is incredibly detailed and the colors are fabulous! Marsha photographed these birds while in the Galápagos Islands and painted them back at her studio. The name Booby is possibly because these tame birds would land on sailing ships and easily captured and eaten! Booby may be derived from the Spanish bobo meaning stupid.
