Spring is here! April Art Fairs From North Carolina to Florida…

The weather is perfect for outdoor events so you have lots to choose from this month. The following is a list of mostly juried art fairs and exhibits from North Carolina through Florida. Take a few minutes to plan your weekends now!

One way we accomplish this is through our annual international art exhibition in Sarasota’s Bayfront Park. The juried exhibit consists of 50 billboard-sized works of art, each accompanied by an inspirational quote.

  • The Festival on Ponce is an Atlanta arts and crafts festival set in the historic park, Olmsted Linear Park. Visitors will enjoy the gorgeous landscape designed by one of America’s most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick Olmsted Sr. along with over 125 displays of fine arts and crafts, folk and “outsider art”. In addition to the fine arts, there will be a children’s area and local food and beverage. Attendance is Free.

  • This perfect art-buyers destination will host booths from over fifty whimsical and talented artisans from around the country.   • Each year, the Wesleyan Artist Market hosts approximately 80 professional artists from across the region. The Wesleyan Artist Market is a fine art, jewelry, and fine wares show. It is one of the premier school-sponsored art shows in the Southeast. Exhibiting artists are in attendance for the entire duration of the show. Per Wesleyan School tradition, we will also host select Wesleyan student artists in 2022.

South Carolina

The Flowertown Festival is the Y’s premiere fundraiser founded in 1973 to support health and wellness programs at the Y. Every spring, thousands of people visit Summerville to see nature’s bounty awash in color, from the hot pink azaleas, to the purple wisteria, to the delicate white dogwood. On this three-day weekend, festival-goers transcend this gracious Southern town to take in the flowers and hospitality and attend one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast: The Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival.
